My Why
I often get asked, “How did you get from tattooing to finance?”
Before working in finance, my husband and I went through our own debt payoff journey so that I could chase my dream of becoming a tattoo artist. Through that experience, I saw firsthand how capable, smart people could have a clear, proven 7-step plan, yet still struggle to make progress. Not because they weren’t disciplined, but because their income didn’t fit into a neat monthly box, making execution difficult, or their thinking behind the steps didn’t align with how they actually lived and thought about money.
At the same time, we were navigating many of the same financial demands most families face: moving costs, daycare, mortgages, and investing for the future. Add in variable income and shifting priorities, and there were plenty of moments when the path forward wasn’t easy.
Through all of it, we continued to move forward financially, not because we did everything perfectly, but because we learned how to talk openly about money and I built a system that helped us manage day-to-day spending while focusing on debt payoff and other financial goals. Just as importantly, that system allowed us to prioritize the life we wanted to live along the way.
Seeing what worked for us, and what kept others feeling stuck, led me to realize I had a deeper passion for helping people with their finances. I transitioned into the financial industry and gained experience working with investments and financial products. But very quickly, I noticed the same pattern showing up again.
Too often, people were being asked to focus on investing or “the future” without first having a structure that supported real-life cash flow and everyday decision-making. Even well-intended advice fell flat when it was built on one-size-fits-all assumptions that don’t match how people actually earn, spend, and prioritize.
That realization is what led me to step away from traditional firms to build a practice focused on helping people organize, plan, and use their money in a way that works in real life. My work centers on creating clarity around cash flow, priorities, and tradeoffs — so clients can make confident decisions, stay flexible as life changes, and continue moving toward what a “better life” means to them.
Because at the end of the day, what truly holds the key to your financial success isn’t the best product, the smartest strategy, or the perfect plan.
It’s Y-O-U.
A little more About Me
I am originally from a small town in eastern Montana, but after graduating college and meeting my husband, we spent the next 11 years moving around the western United States experiencing new adventures and building our life together. We settled in Casper in 2018.
My true love is spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, hosting barbecues, game nights, and Nerf wars with my kids. In the summer you will likely catch me fly fishing with my family on the famous Platte River.
